I spent MONTHS planning this event…⁠

Lining up world-class speakers...⁠

Finding the perfect venue…⁠

Coming up with memorable and valuable experiences…⁠

The surprises, the goodie bags, the DJ, the performances, the after-party…⁠

🇨🇦 I was born and raised in the foothills of Southern Alberta, Canada, and I have been OBSESSED with animals since, well, forever. ⁠

(Sidebar: I almost called the Copy Posse the Copy Coop bc I grew up with chickens... and I love chicks who can write 🤣⁠🐣✍️ So glad I stuck with Posse lol).⁠

In 2008, I put law school on hold, sold my car, quit my job, and moved to Malaysia to become a customer support intern at a startup called @mindvalley.⁠
⁠
It was there I dove headfirst into the world of copywriting, online marketing, and personal development... and I was officially hooked. ⁠
⁠
In 2011, I quit my job and moved home to start my freelance copywriting business.⁠
⁠
Over the next 8 years, I worked completely behind the scenes as a freelance copywriter and marketing consultant for many successful online brands. ⁠
⁠
🤩 I LOVED what I did and all the clients I worked with, but something was seriously WRONG in the industry.⁠
⁠
While there were businesses out there with empowering messages and products/services that genuinely helped people…⁠
⁠
There were also a lot of sleazeballs online that gave us “good marketers” a bad rap by shamelessly using manipulative, scammy, and severely outdated sales tactics 🤮⁠
⁠
I started to notice the Internet getting flooded with BAD copywriting and marketing, so I decided to do something about it. ⁠
⁠
In 2019, I started the Copy Posse and made it my mission to de-douchify the Internet.⁠
⁠
🎥 That’s when I published my first video and since then...⁠
⁠
🏆 I’ve won a few awards...⁠
